What a report contains

When you submit a report, RoboSnap uploads the Robotaxi screenshot, its capture time, a location blurred on your iPhone, and the result read from the screenshot. That result may include a vehicle plate, supervision state, color, model, service area, or service-unavailable state.

Location is blurred before upload

RoboSnap obtains your precise position only to make the report useful, then randomly blurs and rounds it on-device. Exact coordinates are not sent to RoboSnap's server.

What appears publicly

The public map can display a report's time, blurred location, plate, availability or supervision state, color, model, and service area. Uploaded screenshots are kept private and are not displayed on the public map.

What stays on your device

Your personal report history, update credentials, and diagnostic logs remain on your device. Diagnostic logs can include OCR and processing details, but RoboSnap does not transmit those logs automatically.

Service providers and retention

Reports and private screenshots are hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States and retained until removed by Y'all Ware. RoboSnap may send a detected plate to Robotaxi Tracker to retrieve public vehicle details. The public map loads mapping data from CARTO and application assets from unpkg; those providers may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details.

No accounts, ads, or tracking

RoboSnap does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, payment information, or contact lists. Report data is not sold and is not used to track you across apps or websites.
